The McGlynn Middle School has taken to the rising popularity of Frisbee by participating in games during physical education classes.
Mrs. Hoarty, Mr. Dyer, and Mr. Glionna have spent the last two weeks having students learn and practice the fundamentals of Frisbee through games such as Frisbee bowling and the fast paced Ultimate Frisbee on the turf at Hormel Stadium.
Through the Frisbee games the students are improving their hand eye coordination, cooperative team work, and their endurance. Students have taken these skills with them to continue playing Frisbee at recess each day.
