MOBILE APP DESIGN SUMMER CAMP
Spend a week exploring the field of computer science and developing a working mobile app that helps your community!
In this five-day camp for middle school students, we will use App Inventor, a visual programming tool that was introduced during the school year. Campers will design and develop a community-focused app that can run on mobile devices.
Campers will collaborate with other campers from their school; develop problem solving and programming skills while learning about the field of computer science. Campers will present their new skills and apps to their friends, family and other members of their school community. The summer camps are grant-funded so there is no cost for students to attend. All necessary materials will be provided.
